What is the Eastbourne Giving Day?

Our Giving Day is a chance for the entire community – alumni, students, former and current parents and staff, and friends – to come together, reflect on our shared experiences at St Andrew’s Prep and Eastbourne College and help make a difference by supporting our Blue Sky Bursaries Appeal.

How can I get involved?

- You can make a gift ahead of the Giving Day or offer sponsorship or match funding.

- You can help us spread the word about our Giving Day online and amongst your friends.

- You can take part in a Giving Day challenge.

- You can make a gift and become a Giving Day donor.

What are we fundraising for?

The Eastbourne Giving Day will help raise funds for Bursaries. More details can be found using the button at the bottom of this page.

How do you process my gift and what does it cost?

Debit or credit card gifts are processed via Stripe and their processing fees are as follows:

- Donations made via UK debit or credit cards are charged at 1.5% + 20p

- Donations made via European debit or credit cards are charged at 2.5% + 20p

- Donations made via non-European debit or credit cards are charged at 3.25% + 20p

I’m a US resident, can I give tax effectively?

Yes, you can make your gift tax-effectively via the BSUF (British Schools & Universities Foundation) page here.

Please note that gifts made via BSUF make take up to the next working day to appear on our Giving Day page.

Can I set up a regular gift?

Yes, absolutely! Regular donations help Eastbourne plan for the future. If you have a UK bank account, you can set up a regular donation (monthly, quarterly or annually) via Direct Debit by visiting our website here.

How will you use my information?

We would love to stay in touch with you and will keep your personal data in accordance with your wishes. We’ll update your contact details and contact you regarding the Eastbournian Society.
